Redtail 15K Run

The 4th Annual Run/Walk Series will close out the season with a 15K race and a 4 Mile non-competitive walk on Saturday, September 25. Check-in and registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and both events start at 9:00 a.m.

Proceeds from the event support the ongoing maintenance of the Cardinal Greenway, Indiana's longest paved rail-trail.

The course will start and finish at the Red-tail Nature Preserve. Course follows the scenic Cardinal Greenway through tree-lined canopies and open countryside to Blountsville. The Red-tail Nature Preserve is located just east of Highway 35. Follow US 35 south from Muncie, turn left (east) on CR 650 South to 1st 4-way stop. Parking is adjacent to the Nature Preserve.

Awards will be given for the 15K event for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female runners and for 13 additional age division winners for both male and female participants.

Race entry fee is $10 until September 17. A $5.00 late registration fee will apply to registrations submitted after entry deadline. Registration forms may be downloaded here or picked up at the Wysor Street Depot, the downtown YMCA, Kirk's Bike Shop or the Muncie Visitors Bureau.
