Locate the Greenways
Cardinal Greenways features multiple points of entry.
The most noticeable points are trail heads, which typically feature signage, an entrance ramp, and/or parking.
Follow these directions to reach trail heads along the Greenways.
From the north (Marion, Ft. Wayne) and from the west
Miller AvenueTrailhead
Take I-69 to exit 64 (Marion), and then take State Road 18 west 7 miles. Turn left (south) on Miller Avenue and go 0.1 miles. Miller Avenue Trail Head is on the left. Hogin Park Trailhead (close to downtown Marion)
Take I-69 to exit 64 (Marion), and then take State Road 18 west 5.5 miles. Turn left on S. Washington St. in downtown Marion. Go 0.8 miles. Turn right on W. 14th St. Go 0.4 miles. Hogin Park Trailhead is on the left, next to a BMX track. Gas City/Jonesboro Trailhead
Take I-69 to exit 59 (Gas City), and then take State Road 22 west 3 miles through Gas City. Turn left on S. Water St. Gas City/Jonesboro Trailhead is on the corner of State Road 22 and S. Water St. Gaston Trail Head
Take I-69 to Exit 45. From Exit 45 (Indiana route 28), travel east 3 miles to road 600 West (1st flashing red light). Turn left (north) on road 600 West and travel 2.5 miles to red flashing light in the center of the town of Gaston (Elm St.). Turn left (west) and travel.3 miles to Broad St. Turn left (south) and proceed 0.1 miles to Gaston Trail Head. 400 North Trail Head
Take I-69 to Exit 45. From Exit 45 (Indiana route 28), travel east 6 miles to Wheeling Ave. (second flashing red light). Turn right (south) on Wheeling Ave. and travel 2.1 miles to road 400 North. Turn right (west) on road 400 North and travel 0.1 miles. 400 North Trail Head is on the left. Cardinal Greenways Depot Trail Head (Main Office)
Depot Trail Head is at 700 E. Wysor St., just northeast of downtown Muncie. Take I-69 to Exit 41. From Exit 41 (Highway 332), travel east to Walnut St. Turn right onto Walnut St. Turn left onto Wysor St. and continue to the Cardinal Greenways Depot.Medford Trail Head
Travel south from intersection of State Road 3 and Highway 35 (South side of Muncie). On Highway 35, go 4 miles. Look for Cardinal Greenways sign, located on road 500 South. Turn left (east) and go 0.2 miles. Medford Trail Head is on the left.
Prairie Creek (534) Trail Head
Travel south from intersection of State Road 3 and Highway 35 (south side of Muncie). On Highway 35, go 7.5 miles to trail head directional sign, located on road 532 East. Turn left (north) and travel 0.2 miles. Prairie Creek Trail Head is on the left.Blountsville Trail Head
Travel south from intersection of State Road 3 and Highway 35 (south side of Muncie). On Highway 35, go 10.8 miles to trail head directional sign. Blountsville Trail Head is at intersection of Highway 35 and Wilbur Wright Road (edge of town of Blountsville).Losantville Trail Head
Travel south from intersection of State Road 3 and Highway 35 (south side of Muncie). On Highway 35, go 15 miles to trail head directional sign. Turn left (north) on Main St. (1100 W) and proceed 0.2 miles. Losantville Trail Head is on the left.From the south (Richmond area), from I-70, and from the east
Losantville Trail Head
Travel north from the intersection of State Road 1 and Highway 35. On Highway 35, go 3.5 miles and look for Cardinal Greenways directional sign. Turn right (north) and proceed 0.2 miles to the Losantville Trail Head. Blountsville Trail Head
Travel north from the intersection of State Road 1 and Highway 35. On Highway 35, go 7.7 miles and look for Cardinal Greenways directional sign. Turn right. Blountsville Trail Head is on the right at that intersection (Wilbur Wright Road and Highway 35). Prairie Creek (534) Trail Head
Travel north from the intersection of State Road 1 and Highway 35. On Highway 35, go 11 miles and look for Cardinal Greenways directional sign. Turn right (north) at intersection of Road 532 East and Highway 35 and proceed 0.2 miles to Prairie Creek Trail Head. Medford Trail Head
Travel north from the intersection of State Road 1 and Highway 35. On Highway 35, go 14.5 miles and look for Cardinal Greenway directional sign. Turn right (east) at intersection of Road 500 South and Highway 35 and proceed 0.2 miles to Medford Trail Head. Cardinal Greenways Depot Trail Head (Main Office)
Travel west on Hwy 32 or travel north on Hwy 35 to Madison St. (downtown Muncie) and turn right onto Madison St. Continue to Wysor St. and turn right onto Wysor St. The Depot is located on the left side of Wysor Street just before the railroad tracks.
