
Angie PoolExecutive Director |
Angie brings 26 years experience to her position as Director for Cardinal Greenways. Prior to Cardinal Greenways, Angie worked for the American Heart Association, where she managed volunteers in 33 counties in Indiana. Through her leadership, several of her volunteer committees won Affiliate Awards. Her focus at the Greenway is relationship building, raising money for trail maintenance and depot operations, managing events and grant writing. She also helps promote the Trail by speaking on behalf of the Greenways at service clubs across the Region.
Angie is married to Jay, her husband of 22 years, and they have a son, Logan. They live in Losantville, Indiana and are just 1 mile from the Cardinal Greenway. Angie enjoys spending time with her family, and she and Jay enjoy riding and walking on the Trail.

Philip loves to spend time outdoors skiing and fly fishing. He runs his own company, Flatland Resources, which manages the John M. Craddock Wetlands Nature Preserve and provides many other services.

Erin Wheeler
Grant County Director

Erin Wheeler joined the Cardinal Greenway in June of 2011 after graduating from Cedarville University. With a B.A. in Marketing, Erin fulfills the role of Director for the Grant County section of the Cardinal Greenway.
During her college years, Erin participated in a variety of internships and experiences to prepare for her professional career. In the summer of 2010, she worked as a sales management intern for Enterprise Rent-a-Car. In the spring of 2010, Erin interned in Ireland for a non-profit organization called Camara. In 2009, Erin played a key role in Cedarville's public relations while she represented the school through the Lifeline Players traveling drama ministry team.
Erin's focus at the Grant Count Cardinal Greenway is building relationships, running daily operations, marketing, fundraising, and managing events.
Erin currently lives in Grant County with her husband. She enjoys cooking, playing piano, and running through scenic nature- especially if there are flowers around.

Jason WhitneyWayne County Coordinator

Jason is a Richmond, Indiana native who graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2000 with a degree in Non-Profit Management. Prior to joining the Cardinal Greenways he spent six years as the owner of a popular restaruant. Aside fromhis obesssion with cycling, running, and swimming he spends much of his time working as a Board Member with the Boys and Girls Club of Wayne County.
Jason currently lives in Richmond with his wife and son, who enjoys walking the trail so that he can throw leaves into the river.

Denise KelleyExecutive Assistant

Denise is an avid cyclist, exercise enthusiast and former Greenway volunteer. She joined the staff in 2009 and is thrilled to maintain the Greenway's website, coordinate events like the Great Greenway Tour, organize volunteers and support fund raising activities.
A Ball State graduate, Denise is a registered medical technologist and previously managed hospital laboratories in Muncie and Noblesville. She and her husband Tim enjoy bicycle touring, walking, visiting grandchildren in Colorado and riding on the trail. When not working at the Depot, she spends her mornings at the Y teaching Pilates, doing strength training or taking a spin class.

Laura LindleyExecutive Assistant

Laura started with the Greenway in September 2010. Her previous work experience was in banking and finance. Excited to be part of the Greenway staff, she was involved with planning the Turkey Trot and Polar Express events in 2010.
Married to Mike for twenty-one years, her daughter Kelly is a senior at Muncie Central High School. Laura spends her spare time enjoying family and friends. Relaxing outside with a cup of coffee is her favorite past time.

My name is Dillon Carpenter and I am a senior at Ball State. I am majoring in construction management with a business administration minor. I will be interning with the Greenway during the 2011 trail restoration project.
I am originally from Auburn, Indiana, "Home of the Classics", and graduated from DeKalb High School. I enjoy sports and being outdoors, especially riding the Greenway on my bike.

My name is Jacob Hauck and this is my first summer at Cardinal Greenways. My duties include mowing grass, picking up litter and keeping the trail looking nice. Originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, I just finished my freshman year at Ball State University and am currently studying business.
I really enjoy this kind of work and take a lot of pride in maintaining the Greenway's beauty. Hopefully this summer will be the first of many working on the trail.

My name is Dalton Welty and I am a freshman at Ball State. I am majoring in construction management with a business administration minor.
I am originally from Franklin, Indiana and graduated from Whiteland High School. Anything outdoors is fun and I enjoy working here and who I work with.
