County Committees

The Cardinal Greenway trail travels through five counties. In order to most effectively manage this 60 mile corridor, it became necessary to form three steering committees - one in Delaware County, one in Grant County, and one in Wayne County.

Initially, each steering committee was responsible for raising money, building their segment of trail and maintaining their segment. As the organization has evolved, volunteers have changed and as different segments of trail have been built, responsibilities of these steering committees has changed. Each steering committee selects two members to serve on the Cardinal Greenway Board of Directors. Those Board members also serve on various committees. We communicate often and work together to share resources and expertise.

Since Cardinal Greenway was formed in 1993, we have been blessed with dedicated, passionate, intelligent volunteers. Following is a list of 2009 steering committee members:
