| Registration table opens at 4:00 p.m. Friday, 8:00 a.m. Saturday
& Sunday (see
REGISTRATION below for fees) |
| Camping/camp fires - Primitive camping is available. Hitching
rails and tether lines are first come first serve for campers. Camp fires
are permitted. |
| Fire wood not available on grounds. |
| Generators - Use of generators is permitted from 6:00 a.m. to
11:00 p.m. |
| Kids - The Greenway Giddy-up is a great event for the entire
family! Kids 12 and under are FREE! Movie night (rated G) with
refreshments on Friday & Saturday. Games and prizes on Saturday evening. |
| Food Concessions - Concessions (at additional cost)
are available, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (in addition to the meal that
is included in
entry fee) See agenda for times. |
| Water - There will be no less than 2 water trucks on the
grounds. If you cannot carry water let us know. Our volunteers will lend a
hand! |
| First-aid - Red Cross will be on the grounds Saturday & Sunday. First aid supplies are always available at the
registration table and food tent. |
| Showers - Available on east side of reservoir (see
map). |
| Etiquette - Riders must use proper trails/grounds manner at all
times. Running horses on grounds and trails is prohibited. The Giddy-up
Committee has the right to dismiss participants violating this or any
other grounds rule. |
| Weather - Rain or shine, no refunds. |
| Greenway Giddy-up is always the 2nd weekend in October. |
| These trails are open year-round. Prairie Creek Reservoir does collect
a fee (outside of Giddy-up weekend) pay at boat office on east bank. |
